Packaging and marking
Packaging
- Bundles of maximum 10 tonnes
- Bundles are secured with wire or straps
Marking
- One side of a billet is stamped with its heat number and steel grade code
- Ends of each billet can be marked with paint
- Two tags are attached to each bundle indicating steel grade, heat number, dimensions in mm, name of the supplier and bundle weight
