Packaging and marking

Packaging
  • Bundles of maximum 10 tonnes
  • Bundles are secured with wire or straps
Marking
  • One side of a billet is stamped with its heat number and steel grade code
  • Ends of each billet can be marked with paint
  • Two tags are attached to each bundle indicating steel grade, heat number, dimensions in mm, name of the supplier and bundle weight
