Packaging and marking

Packaging
  • Packages of maximum 10 tonnes
  • Packages are secured with wire or packing tape
Marking
  • One end of each billet is stamped with its heat number and steel grade code; or each billet is marked with a sticker (upon agreement)
  • The ends of each billet can be marked with paint
  • Two tags are attached to each bundle indicating the steel grade, heat number, dimensions in mm, the name of the supplier and bundle weight
