Packaging and marking

Packaging
  • Bundles up to 10 tonnes
  • Bundles secured with wire or straps
  • Packaging of bars with a light surface finish is made from materials with a corrosion inhibitor
Marking
  • One end of each bar of diameter from 85 to 180mm is stamped with a heat number and steel grade code
  • One end of each bar of diameter more than 34mm can be marked with a sticker with a heat number and steel grade.
  • The end of each bar can be marked with paint
  • Two tags are attached to each bundle indicating steel grade, heat number, dimension in mm, name of the supplier and bundle weight
